I plan on downsizing and purchasing a fixer upper in the country and then with the left over cash I will put solar on it and stock up on around 3 years of food. After this I will be out of the work force for a few years living on the rest of the savings. This government can kiss my ass. |

Where are the funerals? Why aren't crematories working 24/7 polluting the skies? Quoting: ~Jazz~ Nothing makes sense. People are not dying from covid or vax. People are getting the normal flu and people are getting sick from the vax. There are no extra deaths, its bs on both ends. That said you'd have to be a fucking moron to get the vax. |

It's just not worth it. lol I'm a driver at FedEx in Toledo Ohio and the package handlers there are making $28 to $32 an hour and we still can't get people to work! NOBODY WANT'S TO WORK! |

That is interesting, my husband is a UPS driver and cannot get 40 hours a week. He has volunteered for Saturdays at this point trying to make the 40 hours. I know a lot of people who have been trying to get a second job or a better job and cannot find those jobs anywhere. It is really weird. It might depend on where you live. |

Yep, I think both of you are correct or accurate. It does seem to come down to the idea of "all politics are local." Or where circumstances vary by location and occupation. I'm seeing people say they can't find enough workers and other people saying they're handing out dozens of job applications or resumes but haven't gotten back many responses. In general, something is very squarely in today's Biden-ized America and PCC-China-fied world. Meanwhile, the Karen Gestapos of society cackle softly. |

If Beta Brandon can not find a decent gal at a bar or online he will stay at home living with mom. No need to go make something happen because there is nobody to do it for. Marriage rates have collapsed which means less men needing to provide. |

No...we work for contractors each contractor has no more then maybe 25 to 30 drivers. Even the FedEx workers don't have to be vaxxed. But I do know a lot of them are. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 75833507 United States 10/23/2021 10:10 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | If you consider the type of job positions that are open (mostly entry level, cashier type shit) you can see a couple things. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75092756 1.) Old people who used to have jobs for fun, early morning fast food cashiers, greeters, etc. They no longer feel safe interacting with the public, so they exited the workforce. 2.) Minorities and young people who have normally filled these positions are less likely to get vaccinated. These fast food and restaurants require vaccination. They preemptively removed themselves from the board and I guarantee most of their parents back them up in this decision, most of the time. Thus, low skilled / entry level VACCINATED workers are hard to come by. They are creating a supply / demand issue by not working. Now McDonalds will hire you at $17/hr with a $500 sign on bonus. Wonder how much that will be next year? Some states are still making their workers wear masks all day. Who wants to be subjected to that for hours every day. |
