Talking about rumors. I have a friend who has been in the TV/movie industry for decades.

The rumors going around those circles are that Alec Baldwin and others had been out behind the set target shooting with that very same weapon in previous days - using real ammunition. That info was from someone who had been on the set as late as the morning of the incident.

Somehow there was still a legit bullet in the weapon when this incident happened.
