Spontaneous Human Combustion is utter bullshit - though it is making you believe and FEAR that if 'you do some internal work' the wrong way, it could happen to you - which is exactly the point.

but i prefer the idea that S.H.C phenomena is only "spontaneous" because we cant see the culprit. it happens infrequently because subatomic particles can pass thru solid matter and not interact. its like you walking in a baseball field, and there is one dog poop. what are your chances of stepping on it?

No, it's not! Read the histories. It is worldwide. It was in places where people never heard of it prior to the case/s. It is a real thing.

It is a theory that it involves opposing forces within a person's psyche, and without only. No one I think can really know why it happens in each case, but we are asking questions of each other here in hopes of learning more possibilities. We are our own scientists since sciuence has no definitive Answers.

What do you all feel about the causes, what does your instinct seem to steer you toward?

Usually the people were all alone when it happened. Sitting in a chair usually, i seem to remember. Sometimes smoking.

It didn't burn anything else but them. Not even usually their shoes.
It reminds me of the disappearances.

It made me wonder if their cells were too toxic or acidic or off, ... somehow

Was it a bad spirit? A force? We're they praying? To a very evil spirit? Or were they thinking something evil?

Or was a resident evil targeting them while they were alone?

The master gland, the pituitary, regulates how the body burns fuel...If it gets damaged from excessive alcohol intake, dehydration, and a hormonal imbalance, it's not too far fetched to explain how the body could overheat and burn...
