$500K TO $200K for single family housing is a pretty low ball drop. I'd be expecting more, like final sale price would be 15% of the peaks during this bubble. That would make that $500k house sell for $75,000. And that's assuming the dollar is even worth anything when it came time to sell.

Which is totally feasible as all money then credit disappears into a gigantic deflationary black hole. That's what the central planners fear most, a massive deflationary event overcoming their money printing.

It’s best to think of this as a controlled demolition. They have to collapse everything in a careful manner to keep people divided and at each other’s throats and to keep the sheep eating up the lies.

If they just pulled the plug, it would create a situation where everyone would just unite against them.

Plus, the elites have been preparing for decades. They have deep underground bunkers the size of small cities, and a network of underground highways from coast to coast with hidden storerooms of supplies. They even have airports like Denver on the underground network.

They are extremely well prepared.

The Global situation circles around the virus and the endless mutations. in this scenario a shortage should happen and also a response in the crisis that will be quick and effective and largely approved by the mass.
Then the scenario will end and the time to evaluate the data will come.
If they are lucky they can also continue using some of the changes that they brought during the Global crisis that emerged in their scenario but as a live exercise.

Now, either the above will happen, or it will not happen.

If it happens, it should be over by April to Summer of 2022, the most.

If after the summer of 2022, we are in an almost same situation, then we speak about a live scenario, under real data that occur for the past 3 years from that time and before.
In that case, best course of action for each individual, so to have the best chances of survival, is

1. Get out of the big cities.
2. Become autonomous in food and water.
3. Stay away from getting injected
4. Find like minded individuals that are not injected and start a community out of the grid, as much far as they can from technology.
5. Wait to see how it goes and if nothing happens to return back to their lives, blending with those injected, but not before everything is settled up.

Profit rules the world. Human values are long gone forgotten.

I think you answered your own question. They borrow to pay on what they borrowed. They treat their houses like bank accounts.

There has already been massive inflation, so the cost of housing as gone up considerably. A house in the New Jersey suburbs that cost $300K in 2019 now sells easily for $600K.

So, they take out a home equity line of credit and use, say $200K, to buy more stuff. Then they use the other $100K to make payments on their debt.

It’s an unsustainable strategy that will eventually implode. Unless it doesn’t.

If the economy crashes hard, as you write OP worse then 1929, and hyper inflation kicks in, they’ll just pay it all off down the road with funny money.

Now, let’s talk about what’s really going to happen, because I work with wealthy family offices and I hear things. This is an intentional crash, not just of the US economy but targeted to the US dollar itself.

They will crash it all and the dollar will become worthless. Their plan is to institute a new crypto currency called the USDX, the digital dolllar. After the bloodbath, your dollars will be exchanged into digital dollars at a steep discount. All the banker buddies will get better exchange rates.

This new currency will be entirely digital and linked to everything about you. Some digital dollars in your virtual wallet will even have expiry dates that force you to use or lose them.

This is their end game. This is absolutely, 100% what is coming.

The whispers that I hear are to buy property. Not gold, because they will be confescating gold just as they did under FDR. Not crypto, because the banking cartels can’t have competition and crypto will be illegal to hold and trade.

I love how the lower class assumes these things are bought on credit. Everyone I know, family and friends, carry close to $0 secured debt and at most $10k in unsecured debt. Houses, boats, cars, investment properties. This has been the strategy most decent financial advisors recommended for the last decade or two. When a "reset" happens, nothing is lost but the unsecured debt gets written off. I personally know at least two people storing high end vehicles underground to sell after the chaos. I also know quite a few retired alphabet people ready to bunker down and have everything converted to commodities already.
