No what the article is saying is that they removed the people who died "with covid" - meaning they really died of heart attack,stroke, diabetes, motorcycle accidents, etc - thus the incidence of death by those diseases is artificially reduced.

Then they count vaccinated as only those people who got both shots and then survived 15 days as "vaccinated" Meaning anyone who dies fo heart problems, stroke, blood clots etc caused by the vaccines were counted as "un-vaccinated" thus artificially inflating that groups incidents of those conditions.

The article makes an unsubstantiated claim that those who seek vaccination are in general healthier - but anyone with a brain can see that is meant to place that action in association with something good to manipulate opinion

That is not what the article is claiming at all. Accidental deaths still happen. And the article clearly states that part of the phenomenon is explained by looking at the type of people who get the vax vs the type of ppl that won't. Vaxxers make better decisions overall meaning even before they got vaxxed they were simply less likely to die statistically speaking. The point of the article was just that getting the vax can't be considered dangerous as it doesn't appear to affect that phenomenon.

using an 18-44 age cohort in which absolute risk of dying from ANY cause was small
during the short seven month time frame of the study,
