search says they don't use it because the waste is not valuable for weapons.

Thorium is Way more Abundant then Uranium Therefore It lacks the Price Control of Rarity and Can NOT be used for Weapons. However on the Flip side, A Thorium Reactor can be Fueled with Radioactive waste as in what Uranium Breeder Reactors have as Waste/Spent Fuel. Thorium Reactors are the Answer to Radioactive Waste Disposal. Will it Happen? Only if The Current Scheme of Things Changes. Free Energy has All ready been Given to Mankind and Has been Hidden away from the General Public by the Money people Who Control the World.  , Can use waste material from uran reactors, they can even dig out the old waste contained in led concrete underground storage facilities, whats the downside, no downside.
