They do produce the golden juice prized by many but they also distribute to the mega retailers where you buy (or in your case, steal) the stuff and PepsiCo intends to make a big profit. PepsiCo cannot just make Mt. Dew out of thin air so they need the help of other producers of products. They have to obtain the sugar, sodium benzoate, brominated vegetable oil, calcium disodium EDTA, yellow 5, etc. to make it. They absolutely DO make more on the final product than they pay for the ingredients. According to your paradigm, this is just wrong and you expect the folks at PepsiCo to give you the golden juice you desire for FREE because they are making money by marking up products. If you are to live by your own logic, you will need to OBTAIN the aforementioned list of ingredients yourself to make your own Mt. Dew thereby supporting your stance that ONLY true producers deserve to make a profit.
