ABC Cop Drama 'The Rookie' to Only Use Airsoft Guns on Set After 'Rust' Shooting

It should be mandated that no guns at all are used in the production of tv shows and movies.

All guns should be CGI added in post-production.

Hopefully this will incur such expenses that the writers will leave all guns out of their scripts.

That way the shows won't glorify guns and violence anymore.

We need to train our children to be warriors to defend us from the hordes of illegals invading from Mexico. We need to bring back shooting sports at schools

NERF guns are better. People customize the crap out of them. They are safer and look cooler.

Wonderful. We still need armed patriots on the border. And violent movies to rebuild our warrior culture. CGI my ass

i agree. movies have turned so violent. you just don't see bang bang your dead, we have been subjected to bullets tearing through flesh and worse for years. it would be nice to see movies that don't glorify violence. however, would todays crowd be happy with movies that have a good storyline and no or limited violence?

I do disagree with the mandate part though. it should be a voluntary decision

who the fuck loads a gun with bullets? and gives someone who won't check if the safety is on/off

I stopped watching this show when they went woke. It was a fun show before that but it became unwatchable when Brandon Routh came onboard. It literally caused me to cancel Hulu.

Sitcoms were great from back in the day. 80s sitcoms, 90s sitcoms, hell even some of the 2000s sitcoms (Arrested Development) were legitimately funny.

But sitting here in the 2020s, I cannot think of a single sitcom actively being produced that's legitimately funny and worth watching. It's all drama and reality shows...

I guess writers just aren't in the mood to be funny anymore. Can't imagine why
