Rapture in the Old Testament
1Co. 10:1 For I do not want you to be ignorant of the fact, brothers, that our forefathers were all under the cloud and that they all passed through the sea.
1Co. 10:2 They were all baptised into Moses in the cloud and in the sea.
1Co. 10:3 They all ate the same spiritual food
1Co. 10:4 and drank the same spiritual drink; for they drank from the spiritual rock that accompanied them, and that rock was Christ.
1Co. 10:5 Nevertheless, God was not pleased with most of them; their bodies were scattered over the desert.
1Co. 10:6 Now these things occurred as examples to keep us from setting our hearts on evil things as they did.
1Co. 10:7 Do not be idolaters, as some of them were; as it is written: “The people sat down to eat and drink and got up to indulge in pagan revelry.”
1Co. 10:8 We should not commit sexual immorality, as some of them did — and in one day twenty-three thousand of them died.
1Co. 10:9 We should not test the Lord, as some of them did — and were killed by snakes.
1Co. 10:10 And do not grumble, as some of them did — and were killed by the destroying angel.
1Co. 10:11 These things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for us, on whom the fulfilment of the ages has come.

The movement of Israelites from Egypt to the Promised Land is a pattern of the transformation of a human beings from mortal to immortality, which culminates in the rapture. The last thirteen months of the movement of ancient Israelites to the Promised Land is particularly instructive for today’s people of God, who are the generation on whom the fulfillment of the ages has come.

Re: Rapture in the Old Testament
Getting ready to make the final push to the Promised Land

Nu. 19:1 The LORD said to Moses and Aaron:
Nu. 19:2 “This is a requirement of the law that the LORD has commanded: Tell the Israelites to bring you a red heifer without defect or blemish and that has never been under a yoke.
Nu. 19:3 Give it to Eleazar the priest; it is to be taken outside the camp and slaughtered in his presence.
Nu. 19:4 Then Eleazar the priest is to take some of its blood on his finger and sprinkle it seven times towards the front of the Tent of Meeting.
Nu. 19:5 While he watches, the heifer is to be burned — its hide, flesh, blood and offal.
Nu. 19:6 The priest is to take some cedar wood, hyssop and scarlet wool and throw them onto the burning heifer.
Nu. 19:9 “A man who is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer and put them in a ceremonially clean place outside the camp. They shall be kept by the Israelite community for use in the water of cleansing; it is for purification from sin.

In Numbers 19, God gave a command that would make the Israelites to get ready for the final push to the Promised Land. Before Numbers 19, the Israelites were just aimlessly wandering in the desert, for about thirty-seven years.

Ep. 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her
Ep. 5:26 to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word,
Ep. 5:27 and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.

Just as the red heifer without defect or blemish and that has never been under a yoke was slaughtered outside the camp for purification of the temple and cleansing of the people from sins, in the same way, Jesus Christ Jesus also suffered outside the city gate to make the people holy through his own blood.

He. 13:11 The high priest carries the blood of animals into the Most Holy Place as a sin offering, but the bodies are burned outside the camp.
He. 13:12 And so Jesus also suffered outside the city gate to make the people holy through his own blood.

Sprinkling of blood towards the front of the tent of meeting started right from when the tent of meeting came into existence, but using the ashes of the heifer in the water of cleansing was instituted by God about thirteen months to crossing the River Jordan. In Ep. 5:26, we see that cleansing by washing with water through the word must precede the rapture. Ep. 5:27 describes the rapture.

Re: Rapture in the Old Testament
How to cleanse by washing with water through the word

Jo. 1:8 Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.

Jn. 3:34 For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit.

Jn. 15:3 You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you.

As we can see in Nu. 19:9, purification from sin is accomplished by washing with heifer’s ash solution; that is, a combination of water and sacrifice of atonement. Water in Nu. 19:9 is a type of God’s word (Jn. 15:3). We know that the real purpose of water of purification in front of the ancient temple in Jerusalem was to prevent the outbreak of epidemic. Worshippers came from all over Israel and even from foreign countries, to the temple (Ac. 2:5). Chances were very high that epidemic could break out from such a gathering. The ashes of the heifer has some antimicrobial properties, such that washing with its solution disinfected the human body, thereby preventing epidemic. Washing with water alone cannot prevent an epidemic. Nu. 19:9 says that disinfecting the human body by washing with red heifer’s solution is a type of purification from sin.

Just as washing with water alone does not disinfect the human body, in the same way, speaking God’s word alone does not purify a human heart from sin. Jesus’ sacrifice of atonement must be combined with speaking God’s word for purification.

Ro. 3:21 But now a righteousness from God, apart from law, has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify.
Ro. 3:22 This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference,
Ro. 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
Ro. 3:24 and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

For example, consider this command of God:

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. [Deut. 6:5]

How can a human being always perfectly obey this command? God told Joshua that the way to do it is that the command should never depart from the mouth and the heart (Jo. 1:8). Jesus said that God gives the Spirit without limit to any person that continually speaks God’s words (Jn. 3:34). The big problem now is, is the person qualified to receive the Holy Spirit of God without limit? This is where Jesus’ sacrifice of atonement comes in to help.

During my prayers, I usually pray in the following manner.

“By your grace, the Most High God, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus (Ro. 3:24), I shall be holy as you our heavenly Father are holy. I will always love you with all my heart and with all my soul and with all my strength and I shall love my neighbor as I love myself. I shall enter your kingdom of heaven. In the name of Jesus Christ.”

In this manner of prayer, I agree with God’s commandment through my confession and declare that I will obey the command by the grace of God through the redemptive work of Jesus Christ. It is God who works in us to will and to act according to His good purpose (Ph. 2:13). This manner of prayer transforms a person towards holiness.

Re: Rapture in the Old Testament
Living Water

Nu. 20:2 Now there was no water for the community, and the people gathered in opposition to Moses and Aaron.
Nu. 20:3 They quarrelled with Moses and said, “If only we had died when our brothers fell dead before the LORD!
Nu. 20:4 Why did you bring the LORD’s community into this desert, that we and our livestock should die here?
Nu. 20:5 Why did you bring us up out of Egypt to this terrible place? It has no grain or figs, grapevines or pomegranates. And there is no water to drink!”
Nu. 20:6 Moses and Aaron went from the assembly to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting and fell face down, and the glory of the LORD appeared to them.
Nu. 20:7 The LORD said to Moses,
Nu. 20:8 “Take the staff, and you and your brother Aaron gather the assembly together. Speak to that rock before their eyes and it will pour out its water. You will bring water out of the rock for the community so that they and their livestock can drink.”

Even though Moses did not follow God’s instruction in bringing out water from the rock, drinking water from the rock was the beginning of the final push to the Promised Land. It is a pattern of the beginning of biblical end time.

Jn. 7:37 On the last and greatest day of the Feast, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink.
Jn. 7:38 Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him.”
Jn. 7:39 By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified.

In Jn. 7:37, Jesus is talking about the antitype of drinking water from the rock. Only those who believe in Jesus’ sacrifice of atonement can drink the living water. Does the fact that Jesus made the statement of Jn. 7:37 imply that God’s end-time fountain of living water will come down on the last great day of the Feast of Tabernacles of some year? It is very possible, but I am not really sure.

Whenever God’s fountain of living water comes down will coincide with the opening of the first seal of Revelation 6. The great historian, Titus Flavius Josephus (37 – 100 AD), in “Antiquities of the ews”, Book 3, Section 10, verse 4, as follows.

4. But on the fifteenth day of the same month, when the season of the year is changing for winter, the law enjoins us to pitch tabernacles in every one of our houses; but so that we preserve ourselves from the cold of that time of the year.

This places the timing of the Feast of Tabernacles in November to December. If biblical end time begins this year, God’s fountain of living water will come down in November.

Re. 14:1 Then I looked, and there before me was the Lamb, standing on Mount Zion, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads.
Re. 14:2 And I heard a sound from heaven like the roar of rushing waters and like a loud peal of thunder. The sound I heard was like that of harpists playing their harps.

The 144,000 Israelites will arise when God’s fountain of living water arrives. Incidentally, one YouTube video says that rapture of the 144,000 (Re. 14:1) will be in November 2021. This is also the time of the opening of the first seal. The second seal will then be opened in December. One YouTube video describes a dream that implies war at Christmas time.

Crossing the Jordan River

After the Israelites drank water from the rock, they began the final push to the Promised Land. They met a lot challenges in the form of wars, seduction by Moabite women that led to indulgence in sexual immorality and idol worship, and plague. When they got close to the River Jordan, Moses handed over to Joshua and died.

The 144,000 Israelites form the end-time Moses that will lead the people of God to the time of rapture. Their leadership of the people of God will end before the rapture, at the resurrection. They thus hand over the people of God to Joshua (Jesus) by the resurrection. The rapture will take place shortly after the resurrection. The 144,000 will not participate in the rapture. They are the woman of Revelation 12.

In July 1999, I saw in a dream that I will be alive in this world at the second coming of Jesus Christ. In October 2001, I saw in a dream where the Antichrist came into the city in which I resided, to personally capture me, because I was a big problem to him. I began to escape (Re. 12:6) and woke up. I know that I am a member of the 144,000 Israelites.

Outside of that fable book there's not one other reference document or relic in history anywhere of the mythic Characters
Moses

How did history miss them and their allegedly pivotal role in objective history?

Yet these myths are created to force your obedience to claims of entitlement to the planer?

I read what you wrote and listened to what you said.
The challenges that occur during the 'final push' caught my attention. The spiritual drink of "living" water will enable the weary to endure. To the end.

The time we live in today - a society of seduction & deception - is difficult to overcome. It is almost impossible to completely 'depart from Babylon' with modern idol worship in all its forms. 5/g and tech frequencies can influence the brain etc. Diabolical efforts to deceive.
Truth is hard to find.

The "Promised Land" is just ahead so heeding the warnings of Jesus - to avoid false teachers is imperative.
Jesus told us that Few will find and enter the narrow gate that leads to everlasting life. That, many will desire to enter but will not be able. We must obey what He said in order to enter.
Jesus words and hearing His voice is crucial now. If believers are listening to false preachers, followers of teachers of false doctrines & lying signs they are in danger. Waste no more time for these men and women.
Seek and find Jesus. Follow Him. Listen to what He says.
Obey His words. Repent and seek Him with all your heart.

Spirits pretending to be the Holy Spirit lead believers into very subtle seduction. Distractions to lead them astray. SO MANY continue to seek & accept synchronistic signs, as from God. They believe this is how the Holy Spirit leads them.
Then, they make enthusiastic youtube vids of receiving signs & wonders.
Remembering what happened in the book of Acts - the husband & wife who lied - they were struck dead by the power of the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit is NOT some fuzzy feeling, etc. The Holy Spirit is very serious about speaking TRUTH.
Time for the Final Push.
Departing from Babylon is crucial in order to hear and see clearly. Drinking living water.
Obeying the words of Jesus.

Deception and delusion makes this final stretch difficult to navigate because there are thousands of voices that claim to know truth.

Once the fountain of living water comes down, judgment will begin in the house of God, just like it happened in the case of Ananias and Saphira. It will not be church as usual. There will be great falling away (2Th. 2:3).

The Bible is the history book of our world. And there is coming a time where the whole book will be fulfilled, and the church and age of grace will be complete. Don’t wait too long, you’ll miss it and have to go through the end, and it’s going to be horrific. Time to seek Jesus is now, right now.

I do not affirm OP's postulations, I haven't even read them. I just wanted to point out that the Old Testament did have an afterlife after Abraham.

All of God's people went to Abraham, who was in a holding place until Jesus came and laid His life down on the cross. Then, as Ephesians says, Jesus led captives (the OT saints at that holding place with Abraham, were able to then enter heaven because of Jesus' saving blood sacrifice. Before the cross, they had no righteousness to enter into God's presence.

Great explanation!

It's good to read from people who really understand God's word. There are other people that write what they don't understand.
