Little girl, 4 years old, snatched from a tent during a family holiday.

No more up to date news today Monday 25th. The police think it was an opportunistic snatch. The police had wondered at first if she had wandered off herself but the entrance to the tent was opened by a zipper that was much too high for her to reach. They had been dusting for fingerprints all over the families house but then someone came forward with the news about the car. It should be much easier now to track him down. He wont be able to get her over the border as it is closed due to covid.Newspaper full of pictures . Just a sweet little girl .

Just a few more details re the abduction. Just to make it a bit clearer re the tent situation where the little girl was sleeping. I noticed that two Canadian viewers were shocked that she was sleeping in her own tent . I was also quite surprised at that. However the tent thing was a bit strange. It was a huge kind of combined tent. The smaller one where she was, had access to the mother and fathers tent. She had gone into that bigger tent at 1.30 am to ask for a drink of water so she did have them nearby. She slept in a big sleeping bag and the police are looking for that also. The Federal Police have now been called in. So there is a huge contingency of police working on the case. It is over 10 days now and they re beginning to think she might be in the Eastern States after all.. That's probably why the Federal Police have joined the hunt.Mother and Father are not involved in this. There is 1 million dollars on offer for any information. They are still looking for the car in sheds.The towns people of Carnarvon are shocked and hurting. We recently had another child abduction which went on for years. They never found him but sadly there is a suspect - another pedophile.

Yes I understand that .. There is another baby involved who did sleep in with the parents. I don't know but she may have her own room in the family home as well. At four children do sleep solo.Look it is a fairly small community.Its probably not something anyone thinks about. EVerybody knows everybody else. But I agree young parents must be vigilant. Today this sickness of snatching children is everywhere. Yes Madeleine is a prime example. My biggest fear IS that as time goes by she will be terminated. I pray every night for her protection.

I read an article about this last week, and the tent was described as one tent, but a partition between two areas. Parents were in one section and the 4 year old in another. There also was a child younger than 4.

I'm not familiar with camping tents, but there might be some kind of cloth divider between the two sections for privacy.

Why would anyone need privacy in a TENT? If the 4-year-old's area had an access point (apparently it did) then she needed to be with her parents. Not in a "private tent room" where someone could steal her!

Parents are behind her death. Gave her a NyQuil type syrup so she would sleep and they could be free to socialize. They did this often but this time it killed her. Got rid of the body easily enough by driving far out but by the sea.

Just a bit more on this post. The whole world now is aware of this latest abduction. The police are back at the home. When asked about this they say it is standard procedure. It is not pointing finger at the parents who are not suspects at all. But they have been seen taking huge bags of stuff out of the house.Mother is on television constantly begging for the return of Cleo. If you think about it.. how difficult for this guy to hide and feed a small child. All stores have been notified ...He would certainly not be in the area now. Everyone is looking for him but I believe he has long gone.
