My apologise for my cranky posting. I have had to shoulder some really terrible news, and I am in short supply of goodwill. But please accept my apologise.

Tinnitus.

I want each and every member to promise me that if they get even the TINIEST cold / snuffle and RINGING IN THEIR EARS that you will hit the supplements and good stuff hard and with a regularity.

It is a sign (and I wish this person and her husband had listened to Mrs Doom and I) that you are suffering massive inflammation in the brain - and are about to get absolute smashed by sever symptoms and, sadly, in their case, one has had a serious stroke, the other is sadly deceased.

Please, please PLEASE have this at the front of your mind through winter.

tinnitus is sever brain injury. It is becoming increasingly clear to us and others that once that ringing starts, you have a short time to treat aggressively before you are at a majorly increased risk of cerebral accidents.

Thanks, UD. This is good info. I know a lot of people have tinnitus during/after COVID, especially prevalent in the longhaulers. I have also heard of quite a number of people getting it after the vax.

With regards to artemisia --- it is available in a supplement form as Artemisinin. It's an antimalarial, and is used in a lot of Lyme protocols to combat the coinfection Babesia, which is a cousin of malaria. Also, natural quinine can be be purchased as Quina in tincture form (there are Chinese names for both of these herbs, too, but I don't recall them offhand.) Might not be a bad idea to stock up on those now while they're available.

I keep both on hand normally, because I use them when I get a flareup of the Lyme/coinfections.

Do be aware that large quantities of Artemisinin can be liver toxic if used continually, so it is best to use at times when you really need it, or pulse dose it with breaks in between. I'm quoting my doctor on that part.
