i did say "could". 2 years plus bout 34 weeks does put us to 5 years with covid. by then we should know more on how log survivors live post-infection and how quickly re-infections will kill also.

though we have been in a slow doom burn for over 2 and a half years, things are happening faster. look how quickly MP went global or the "kid flus" are spreading. ppl are being re-infected and becoming sicker, and this is happening to younger ppl.

govern's are under an "all hands on deck" and "close your eyes and ignore reality" policy. they don't have much more of ideas to slow down the inevitable. they got to keep the public working to prop up supply chains. if ,or once, deaths pile up in younger ppl the govern won't b able to hide the truth. then they will start to lose control over the ppl.

TPTB goal is to delay til they can get AI replacements designed and put in place. they still need the infrastructure to move goods. covid is mutating and merging faster than govern can gain ground. the waves of illnesses are happening faster and there is less and less space between each wave. the pace continues to speed up as time passes. what has been a smoldering slow burn doom will become an inferno.
