"bad winter"? more like bad decade and probably century. i see no way out.
in the end covid becomes the AMER-virus, a melting pot of all viruses.i suppose then it could mutate down like normal viruses have and become like a common cold. or more likely it becomes dormant until some animal digs it back up, like the plague and Ebola do now. but that day is a long ways off and a lot of bodies down the road from here.
other than building several sealed echo-cities inside bubbles, this thing is an ELE.
we already see that it can take down both birds and mammals. the old theory that 1% will b immune doesn't even work with this virus cause it keeps changing. it really is mad science on steroids. because it mutates and merges constantly, no true vaccine can b made to prevent it nor meds made to treat it. it is not just 1 virus , it is all viruses.
i know others will argue that mankind is resilient and will survive. that is true in the short run. at some point, the virus will kill off enuf ppl to cause society to collapse. this could b in 2 yrs from now or longer depending on how slowly the 1st few covid mutations kill ppl. it could b sooner if it does merge with a deadly virus and go global. then, the public will wake up to the reality of what we have posted on for almost 3 years. after society collapses, small communities will organize. how they going to keep the merging viruses out? the attempts to that have already shown to fail as far off as remote Antarctica. small communities will buy man kind time but not covid will go on merging and killing in wildlife between them.
whoever is left would need to build those dome echo-cities. and everything and everyone entering would have to b decontaminated. many of these will also fail. by then the world will have seen mass extinctions of 1,000's of species.

6) Small communities indeed. Africa is the last, best hope for mankind. The unvaxxed are awake to the dangers - and that is why the west's evil elite are so ready to kill them off.
Omicron was the fire break. And I am sure that it will happen again once people can lay their hands on the new mrna tech headed right at us.
