Only about 100 people turned up to a job fair aimed at plugging Denver International Airport's huge labor shortage.

Denver Concessionaires Association (DCA) President Dennis Deslongchamp told ABC7 Denver that organizers had hoped for around 5,000 people at the fair on Saturday, which he called a "very lofty goal."

Organizers wanted to fill around 1,000 jobs at the airports, he said.

But only around 100 people came to the four-hour fair, Deslongchamp told ABC7.

With the tens of millions of illegals entering our country, you'd think they'd be able to fill all those job openings up real fast.

Where do the illegals get jobs? Are they working?

They have a hard time reading or speaking english when they jump the southern fence, but after a couple of years trying to assimilate, they have a basic understanding of english.

Where do they get jobs??? Try Berryville Arkansas at the Tyson Chicken processing plants, the surrounding chicken brooding houses, and the plethoria of Mexican restaurants in Berryville. Now, why are they in Arkansas? Because it is realitively close to the Mexican border, their families probably migrated to this area through the years to work in the chicken industry, they cook a mean mexican dinner that only Mexicans can, and most people who hire Mexicans do not ask for citizenship papers.

Skilled Labor is the real gold big corporations want and needs.

what happens when they get the middle finger instead of skills.

The idea is driving in heavy traffic everyday to get to a part time minimum wage job sounds horrible. Especially if it's past the metal detectors. Getting felt up to work. A 4 hour shift at Burger King sounds like PTSD.

People too stupid. Your education system sabotaged the public. The current crop of people out there more than likely couldn't even read the job postings. I don't want burger flippers touching any part of an aircraft.

I'd need $50/hour to be able to afford to live there, and I'd only want 40 hours a week... I don't do overtime.
