It was dark so I tried flipping on the light switch but instead of illumination I heard a clicking, humming sound.
“Gotta fix that damned light,” I muttered.
Accepting the fact that the light wasn’t working, I peered in the darkened mirror, but it was shattered into splinters, each shard showing glimpses of a different face, none of them my own..
I gasped, turned and looked at my bedroom through the open bathroom door, and I saw my body resting on the bed.
