I haven't seen any of this shit, the only thing we really ever had trouble scoring was shit paper and guns an ammunition here in East Texas. Go figure, still trying to figure out how those two are interrelated. .

I worked in retail for many years and we used cardboard photos for planograms layouts and research stores. It’s much quicker, easier and cheaper to put pictures up than actual products so I wonder if some of these photos are coming from shelf staging prior to packing shelves. I could be wrong and they are really just trying to make the shelves look full when the store is empty by using the cardboard planogram layouts.

I have noticed Electronic Shelf Labels (ESL) in a lot of stores that allow you to quickly change prices wirelessly so it looks like they are preparing for hyperinflation. ESL’s were originally used in Europe before the euro came out so you could deal with displaying multiple prices in different currencies and deal with currency exchange fluctuations. Until now there really hasn’t been a good business case so what changed ?

Still gonna taste amazing when me and my cast iron pan are done with it.

I have noticed some fuckery in my local grocery store. I was walking by the cheezits. I thought, geez - that is a lot of cheezits because normally they have like 20 different flavors. This time it was just the normal cheezits but like three whole shelves of them.

I took a peek under the hood and each box had no or at most, 1 box behind it. They are getting clever with the shelving.

There is empty shelves in walmarts near me but if I drive to atlanta they are fully stocked! Same with some fast food places closed for months locally but in atlanta they are open.

It maybe pictures for planning to help stockers know where items go in a new store. I have seen these helpers in liquor stores.
