What should I do to Celebrate 20yrs of Cancer ?
It's hard to find the words to express every emotion possible all at once. Every day closer feels like another layer of impeding doom.

It was Nov. 5th, 2001 at 16yrs old I was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer. An experience unlike any other. I am a 0.01% patient in the most simple explanation without going into paragraphs of details.

20yrs later, I still live with active Cancer. Never in remission, never eradicated, maxed out on I-131 Ionized Radiation treatments, & can't have anymore surgery it's too risk. I been coasting with attempted suppression via Thyriod hormone replacement but it never works. In fact it can't be fully eradicated because my body made it's own unique version unlike know types. Etc etc.
This November 5th, is my 20th year living with Cancer & I don't know how to celebrate???
It's so big nothing is good enough, I can't focus on anything to make plans, I want to celebrate with family & friends but it's not something ppl will take time for nor take effort to plan for me.

I'm stumped & in anxiety about what to do in celebration??
My only rules for my annual Canniversay are: "Fuck it, get wasted, spend all your money, spoil your self, do what you want, go let out some aggression with destruction or fireworks. Be extreme & enjoy! "

Suggestions??? Please?

Go bring a big giant cake to a cancer ward and let THEM know it’s possible! (Arrange ahead of time)

An hour or two with those in the deepest depths of worry over their

“Death sentence” will lighten their load quite a bit

Will make the rest of your day as light as a feather !

Then - take a long walk -
Bike ride

Do Something OUTDOORS to see the miracle of this world and realize you are part of it !

Life is a rollercoaster - and you’ve had a ride that wasn’t fun from a young age - nobody can put themselves in your shoes

Give THANKS and SHARE what you’ve learned

Thank you for the replies!
Except the AC from Slovakia! Your attitude is toxic, no thank you! There are cures. Experimenting with Holistic remedies is why my tumors are suppressed too growth at 0.5cm per 5yrs that passes.

Thank you @Theobromie for the heartfelt suggestions! I will definitely venture in the outdoors!!

I actually never had to be in cancer wards or facilities.
Thyroid Cancer is actually the one cancer that isn't treated in cancer "death by chemo" facilities. I never saw a single other cancer patient let alone a kid/teen one. Thyriod Cancer is very isolating and usually it's old people. I-131 ionized radiation that treats Thyriod cancer requires isolation for months, everything I touched became radioactive for 1yr. Standing near me was equal to the other person getting 24 X-Rays per Second they were near. It was kinda cool having "super radioactive powers" that entire department of doctors were scared of. One time I shut down an entire side of hospital & everyone had to evacuate the floor At UCDavis cuz I threw up the partly digested radiation pill. LOL.

I need to write a book wi my experiences!

You want empathy for celebrating 20 years of ignorance?!
I'm sorry you have to go through this Hard Lesson.

Any (Eastern) naturopath could have given you an easy cure with Soursop for instance or eating thyroids from animals.

In your condition after surgery and all, i have nothing to suggest.

Go to Church, and say thank you for being alive.

Then go find some other poor bastard with cancer and try to make his day a little better somehow.

God Bless.

I have a friend that had stage4 lung cancer and she went to a clinic in Mexico was cured of it. There are so many cures for cancer but you have to research.

Spirituality is the opposite of religion, religion is a substitute for spirituality. Spirituality is a direct connection to Creator The Most high.

Anyone who inflicts pain on others will suffer themself from that pain.

Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil.
