Much as I have tried to find alternate tests that they will accept, my hospital insists that I take COVID PCR Nasal tests in advance of two upcoming out-patient procedures.
I've read many concerns about the swabs being used. Some can be called conspiracy theories. But many come from trained and qualified doctors and nurses.
These concerns range from the swabs being just in general dirty and contaminated, to being seeded with the Covid virus itself, to containing nanoparticles, to having been exposed to high concentrations of cancer-causing decontaminates.
So, is there anything I can do to mitigate or nullify any impact being done to my body via those sinus passages?
For example, immediately use a colloidal silver spray?

As long as they aren't doing Nasal Pharynx which is very invasive and unnecessary doing a mid or lower turbine swab should be fine.
Originally the testing solution itself was contaminated with Covid (one can only wonder about how that can happen; queue conspiracy theories). However that was in the very beginning. There has not been any repituable source showing contaminated swabs themselves although some people say they have GO or other properties like fibers.
You can see that the false positive issue is really not real; as I've said many people are getting weekly tests now and our positivity rate is near 1% in many places. Trump himself tested repeatedly and only tested positive once he actually came down with Covid.
Just go get the test and make sure it is not nasalpharnax.
I will say that some procedures like for operations do insist on nasalpharnax still; hopefully not and you can persuade them not to.
Even for a nasalpharnax the risk is still quite low that there will be an issue; but there's just no reason to incur any risk.
