Quercetin to block spike protein?
Dr. Thomas E. Levy MD, JD states that :” Quercetin. Similar to HCQ and CQ, quercetin also serves as a zinc ionophore. And like HCQ and CQ, quercetin appears to also work to block the binding of COVID virus spike proteins to the ACE2 receptors, impairing spike protein-virus entry into the cell, or impairing spike protein alonef from entering the cells (Pan et al., 2020; Derosa et al., 2021). Many other phytochemicals and bioflavonoids are demonstrating this ACE2 binding capacity as well (Pandey et al., 2020; Maiti and Banerjee, 2021“

He also suggests Ivermectin and HCQ inhibits the spike protein as well. Could be why they don’t want anyone taking them because they negate the vaccine’s intended function?

Worth a shot if you feel you have no choice but to get the vax.

I’ve been taking Quercetin all year and I’ve not been sick at all. I also add in zink, sunshine, C, etc but more recently I’ve also added Lysine which is known anti viral.

I just ran out and need to get more. Yeah taking along with zinc to get the zinc in the cell. I also take lysine, which helps inhibit getting covid as per other research displayed on this board.

I don't think it will prevent your body from making spike proteins if you took the shot.

It can't deprogram your DNA. It can, however, prevent spike proteins from attaching if you're not vaxxed.

Quercitin and zinc...Get it. Take it.

Re: Quercetin to block spike protein?
I know quercetin assists zinc to enter the cells easier and is therefore great for the immune system, but I wasn’t aware it blocked spiked proteins as this doctor states.

I have resisted getting this vaccine but I have too lucrative a job to give it up especially considering I’d essentially be blackballed as many companies require it to be hired.

I’m going to load up on quercetin, zinc, vitamin C , turmeric and may even go low dose aspirin with hydrogen peroxide in a nebulizer.

Try to block the spike protein and reduce any chance at inflammation and clotting.

It sucks but I’m in a corner

But can quercetin block any spike protein that your body creates?

It’s all a crap shoot

Re: Quercetin to block spike protein?
It won't block spike protein production. It supposedly blocks the spike from binding to the ACE receptor of cells.

You need something to cleanse out the spikes produced that theoretically can't bind to cells.

NAC is reported to have possible cleansing properties, thus the recent ban of sales by the FDA.

I don’t know if they are just relying on existing stock, but they still have NAC at my local health food shops

Good point. Turmeric has cleansing properties as well. I know there are cleansing supplements that have lemon, garlic and such .

I saw a lemon and charcoal cleanse drink at my local vitamin shop. I’m probably going to go all out and buy a bunch of stuff.

Quercetin cured my allergies, years ago.

Always eat the apple's skin, rich in quercertin. Remove wax with boiling water first.

So someone who recently tested positive for COVID could take Quercetin AND Invermectin to have a milder case of it?

It's my BIL, and he's 79 and now has pneumonia and is hospitalized.

I TOLD MY SISTER *NOT* to let them intubate.....

I don’t disagree with you but most of the country has either willingly gotten vaxxed or submitted to it.

We’re way past the tipping point of being able to do anything because the numbers aren’t there.

For example there are 9000 NYC employees on unpaid leave. There are over 300,000 city employees in NY.

They can easily replace 9k

I'm am on it. Take it with Zinc after a meal.

you also need Nigella sativa (Back Cummin Seed) as an alternate to IVM if you cannot get IVM.

An article I read said to not take zinc with quercetin as in the same time of day but rather take zinc a few hours later
