I was in a different place in my life when I got married than I am now. But I do believe we are in the place we need to be to learn whatever lessons we need to learn. I am dealing with overcoming fear and uncertainty right now like I would never be faced with if I were single without children. It’s like a doctorate in being true to yourself. I’m dealing with my wife and her family, work pressures to get vaccinated, assuming I will be jobless in the next few months (which probably means wifeless as well).
But it allows me to be tested and trust the process even more.
So, yes, I am happy that you figured it out before getting shit on by the universe.
