Quoting: Eilonwy I don't even know how that happens? Most libraries were given to towns to be what they are for perpetuity. I had a dream last night the the public library in my town was closing down, and when I arrived to the scene half of the library had already been emptied. I awoke crying for our culture. If I were to home school, the library would be a weekly excursion. The internet is ok for a wikipedia overview, but BOOKS are still how you delve deep into subjects. “A grower of turnips or shaper of clay, a commot Farmer or a king--every man is a hero if he strives more for others than for himself alone.” Lloyd Alexander, The Castle of Llyr |

I had a dream last night the the public library in my town was closing down, and when I arrived to the scene half of the library had already been emptied. I awoke crying for our culture. yes, was arrested for being in the library without a mask, the police kept telling me it was a private business, so I guess it is their private property, not ours, it's theirs, we have no right to public institutions, they are there for them, not us. we have no public lands, we share nothing in common, it is every man for himself, THAT IS WHY THEY RULE US do you understand, that the complete lack of civics , communality is how they keep you all in chains of money slavery? it conditions you all to not care about anyone else or care about having a communal form of living, IT"S DONE ON PURPOSE the books you see in the library are only about 1/100th the books people donate. who even knows what they do with them all, they have book sales, nobody knows where they warehouse them, they may throw them away |

I get it that a library can only hold so many books. But what I see when I go to the book sales is that the old, real books are being tossed just because they are old. Again, get on the committee. “A grower of turnips or shaper of clay, a commot Farmer or a king--every man is a hero if he strives more for others than for himself alone.” Lloyd Alexander, The Castle of Llyr |
