Climate change is very real and it's being caused by the "event".
That event is a cyclical 12,000 magnetic pole shift that drags the Earth's crust over the mantle. (5% of the planet's crust is composed of iron that is magnetically aligned to the poles.)
This pole shift started soon after the 1900's and has been escalating every decade. The magnetic field of the planet has also been weakening faster and faster as well.
Magnetic north crossed over the top of the planet into Russian waters a couple years ago and the magnetic poles could flip any time now.
It's not "man made" and we can't stop it.
