We used to get a cheap half gallon of vodka, like Vlad or something, and throw all of our shake, seeds, and stems into it for a month or two...
Quoting: Zorro A. Knievel Esq. The "Green Dragon" is absinthe. That is made from wormwood and a couple other herbs. For any tincture, the stronger the proof, the better. I used Everclear a few years ago for cannabis until eventually finding out that it was made from GMO corn. Everclear is 195 proof. It was good and very trippy but a lot of effort and wasteful. I didn't have a distilling device to capture the evaporated alcohol. The more you reduce the volume, the stronger the final product gets. When I finished and evaporated off most of the liquid, it was like paste. And tasted absolutely vile. Now, I'd rather make cannabutter and eat cookies instead. [ link to www.foodbeast.com (secure)]
