I hate my alarm clock, but I guess that’s a good thing.

Having the alarm annoying you until you rise up out of bed. Struggling to turn it off as you stumble about the dark morning.

I think it's rude to wake people up, especially me...

Sleep in.

Hit the snooze button. The alarms come one after another. You used to wake up to your routine but over time you become numb to the morning.

Finding ways to cope to a rude awakening. Doing anything to dull the pain.

Never could, I feel like I'm wasting a day...I get up before the Sun...

Then overcoming the clock. Like brief. Mastering your own time.

I need my 8 hrs though, and if I have to go more that 24 without sleep, I might click off and recharge without notice...I'll just blackout but still be responsive to very limited communication...

Definitely agree with you. You probably have a set schedule but I adjust for this.

For all the years I went to school and work, I woke up naturally at 6:00-6:30 every morning, including weekends and didn't change...Now that I'm retired, I vary the hours because I can, but I still default back to my old schedule...

Have you tried one of those alarm clocks that lights up to mimic the phases of sunrise? I have one and it's pretty nice! I don't like a lot of stimuli when I first wake up, so the gradual light is a lot easier to wake up to.

I think the reason I developed the ability to wake up regularly was because I'd set my alarm, as a kid, so loud that it would jolt me out of bed...I may have given myself PTSD LOL
