I at least appreciate that this one is now doing the right thing by her patients and trying to save the lives she is directly responsible for in her office. I won't bash her for that, it is commendable. The pressure on good doctors is extreme right now, I respect her way of handling this. We shall see, I will learn more at my own upcoming appointment. I get what you are saying, but... losing your job and reputation, and maybe even license to practice, can be ruinous when you have 200k in med school debt... 2020-2021 is an eye opener to all those people who choose not to be naive, foolish, gullible or unethical. I never would have predicted as recently as late 2019 that something similar to Covid-19 and mRNA would be so greatly politicized. But they have. If this time in US/world history isn't a wake-up call or red-siren warning to humanity, then the ghosts of Joseph Stalin, Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini, Mao Tse-tung, Fidel Castro, Pol Pot, Ho Chi Minh, etc, etc, etc, are high fiving one another. It is shocking, how people will believe anything said by "authorities." How could people learn from the history of the horrorshows you cite when the education system leaves kids dumb? Don't think it isn't on purpose, either. Say the name Pol Pot and probably 2 percent of people under age 30 even know who that is, much less have the ability to understand the scope of such abstracts. They have iphones and Starbucks...their minds can't even work in such a way as to grasp it. Which was the goal. How does a culture defeat this? Well, I fear it can't. I haven't really heard of anyone coming up with a good answer/solution for that. Right! Exactly! It takes a more nuanced mind to follow cause and effect to its logical conclusion. Thousands more would have died in concentration camps had Oskar Schindler told Amon Goeth to fuck off instead of playing within the system to do good in his own way. There are different ways to skin a cat, and keyboard warriors are good at judging but have little understanding of cause and effect relationships. Perfect example is when people witness a kid being abused in public. They film themselves and post it proudly to FB as they go off on the abusive parent. They are too DENSE and NARCISSISTIC to realize their so-called heroism just caused the kid to get the beating of his/ her life as soon as they got home. Their need to have a hero status caused more suffering. People can't think ahead and act on emotion, not on reason. My doc started driving a new Tesla S about a month after he got the vaccine to deliver his geriatrics/internal med practice. $40 added to the normal office visit billing. Two minute procedure.
