Yes less than 12 hours, TY again to whichever MOD or Trinity if so lifted it, I put in a honest truthful request, or someone read here my post, think it must have been an auto word one... the word beginning with B that had a rev olu tion in Russia even though I broke up the word like that.

The picture doesn't seem a laser weapon, but an hypersonic missile.
5 km not a big range and they should be an easy target for artillery.
I would say not a game changer in the current stage of development, the reload time should still be high and the power generator still too massive.
If it is effective, in a short time I expect something similar from the NATO arsenal for the same purpose, shooting down drones and possibly other aircraft.
It was predictable that the evolution was going toward abtidrone equipment; the next step should be drone fighers, but the current prototypes shouldn't be expendable.

I was going to add, which I why I added the text, the picture on the tweet is not the system.

Though someone in the last 2 pages has posted a Picture of a lazer type system that if not (I doubt it is the one) is very similair to what it would look like and size etc...

If it does though manage to have a very high rate of destroying, detecting drones which Ukraine has used to great advantage, it will have an effect on the front.

Especially with the precision laser and GPS artillery coming into play.

However its known and advertised so no OPSEC Ukraine is recieving intelligence from 5 eyes, so satellite and GPS very fresh can be provided still for 20 miles range of some quickly behind front lines.

Israel has already provided,and they are being used this EDM4S drone suppression system [link to thetimeshub.in (secure)]

Which is probably why so many Orlan Rusky drones have been videod and reported landed without being shot down.

The Russian system is probably trying to level the playing field in that regard, and be against TB ones and the ones made specifically for this by the USA and coming on line now, the Laser though not portable as such like the man carried ones, and itself a juicy target for indirect fire.

The Russian Unit Zadira laser weapon little is known of, as this is breaking many MSM and others are mixing it up with the satellite blinding one thy have, they are differant, on is tactical one is strategic.

They the Ruskies are claiming it was tested on Tuesday burnt up a drone target in 5 seconds and is now deployed, as far as I can tell from avialable reliable info and sauce it would have to be truck mounted, or at least on somethign the size of a light infantry fighting type vehicle chassis to move, be powered, hold the kit operator/driver etc.
