Some observations worthy of note today:
Lots of irregular military traffic today, especially helicopter traffic.
We had to Chinooks land in my local civilian airport (it's a regional / short range international airport) unusual enough to have made the local gutterpress.
On ADS/B there is/was a lot of helos... Chinooks, Pumas, EH101s, flying into cities today too. This is not a U.K. based observation too, but all over Western Europe.
Tomorrow, we also have an alert from RAF Lakenheath for fighter jet training missions, up to 11pm. This will mostly be for F15's, which for those of you don't know, are the loudest f**king jets on the planet. They don't fly these up to 11pm very often.

I just, just missed out on seeing a bone fly. I did however watch Concorde land about 70ft away from me once. Probably similar, and that was awesome.
