I had to go the ER yesterday to get fluids in me and CT scans for extreme stomach discomfort near apendix, covid positive. My wife and I both had it 4 weeks ago, daughter never tested positive although she had similar symptoms. Mainly gastro issues and extreme fatigue.
Anyways, wife got over hers with compounded ivermectin as prescribed by her Dr. I never requested it as mine was less severe.
I was over it in about 1 week, felt great for 2 weeks, all my energy back, built goat shed, extended chicken and duck run, cleared some brush in the woods. Felt normal.
Woke up this past Sunday morning with a bad stomach ache. Lost 10 lbs in 3 days and couldn't keep anything down. Apendix discomfort and dehydration sent me to the ER.
This new strain really hits hard in the stomach
Quoting: Maddrummerboy Yeah, I lost ten pounds over a few days, too. Of course by now I've gained it all back. Ha! Hope you get over all the issues soon. Quoting: Mr. Tiger Blood Thanks! Resting all weekend. Crazy how it came back. Dr said possibly long covid Quoting: Maddrummerboy My wife last all feeling in her right leg below the knee after covid. Doctors ran a bunch of tests and then labelled it long covid. She fixed it by first reducing inflammatory foods and then did a 72 hour fast. I tried it myself a few weeks later, how I felt after was amazing. Will probably incorporate it into my schedule 3-4x a year now. Quoting: V1k1ng That's great! I've changed my diet dramatically since March. Quit drinking alcohol and have lost 50lbs. Down to my pre marriage weight of 225lbs. Wish this virus would just go away already
