Why is the Sun so bright!?

I'm not advocating astrology in fact I'm against it but I do remember when I was younger hearing something about the solar system going into Aquarius whatever that means. Could that have something to do with it? I remember the fifth dimension singing that song the dawning of the age of Aquarius.

I remember the yellow sun.

I ask that question to older people a lot. Many do remember it.

I'd like to know when that beautiful golden sun disappeared and was replaced by the white spotlight we see daily.

The sun is at it's lowest level in ten thousand years. Not a bright as years past.

Go look at the car license plates from California in the 1980's (blue background, yellow characters). That was the color of the sky, that was the color of the sun. Things have definitely changed.

They have some sort of fake sun up there.

Think about it. When the sun's output is high, it puffs up it's corona which causes less light to penetrate it. When the sun's output is low it's corona recedes and allows more light to penetrate. However that is not the reason the sun is brighter and whiter.

OP, out magnetosphere is on a downswing. It happens every 12,000 years. When we travel through that wrinkle in the galactic equatorial magnetic sheet it causes all celestial entities to fluctuate, including our magnetosphere. We are at the threshold of grand solar minimum as well. It just so happens to harmonically coincide with the 12,000 year cycle. The brighter whiter sun is just the beginning of the show.

Back in the day, when children would draw pictures, and if there was a sun, we would make it colored yellow.

Why?

Because it's the color we knew the sun to be. We had white cayons, but we didn't use it for the sun's color.
