Molly McClaren was aged just 23 and had her whole life ahead of her when she was brutally knifed 75 times by her vile former partner Joshua Stimpson in broad daylight.

The pair had met on the dating app Tinder and a kind Molly felt sorry for Stimpson, believing him to be a lonely character and hoping she could help him with his mental health.

However, his behaviour became controlling as frightened Molly attempted to end their relationship, but he refused to take no for an answer, stalking and harassing her on social media, The Mirror reports.

And Stimpson, who was two years older than Molly, followed her all the way to her local gym, before cornering her in her car and cutting her throat in June 2017.
