We have a legal system and is not a hap hazard one, both sides are allowed to present their evidence to a group of the accused peers.

Those good men and woman listen to each side and without prejudice reach a conclusion of guilt or innocence.

You may not agree with the outcome but unless you are on that jury and listen intently to the evidence provided your opinion is just that.
