One time in Palm Springs

I lived in So Cal with my boyfriend in 1985. I was 18. We decided to drive out to Palm Springs and get a nice hotel and drop some acid. It was a couple hour drive and we got there late because we had to go after work. Something was going on in town so every hotel was booked. We ended up in this ancient motel. I love old motels so I didn't mind. We get settled in and he chickens out and said he won't drop acid and goes to sleep. I said fuck it and dropped alone and I had the best night!! There was a literal crack in the wall where I could watch the traffic. The beadspread was old and pure sixties paisley. I watched that bedspread move for hours. Had a great time!!!! Glad my boyfriend didn't drop because he was an asshole and it would have been a whole other trip. Great memories.
