This one is really really old. It came from my elderly aunt (by marriage) who got it from her grandmother.

Let's say you have non-matching socks on, but they're pretty much the same color....or when something isn't perfect, but good enough, one would say, "Well, it won't be seen on (or from) a galloping horse."
