Who is "assigning" tasks to our top-most elected officials in the chain-of-command? That's what I want to know. They have assigned purposes based on the office they hold. Is the VP beholden to task management from POTUS? I thought they had separate, but overlapping duties for the sake of redundancy in the event of critical loss. This is the first time I have ever heard any concept that POTUS is the VPs boss in the sense of able to task manage & fire them.
