French ‘black alien’ reportedly gets fingers sliced off to create claw

We were gonna do that too bear so he could shoot a bow and arrow but we decided he was better with claws. Guns though.

Deserves to be sent to a psychiatric ward for evaluation.

I dunno that I'd call this mental illness.

As far as trans-humanistic transformations go, his looks better than most hollywood productions, and had to cost him a fortune on top of enduring immense pain and long recoveries over a long period of time.

Seems more of a deep, dedicated, artistic physical transformation into what he believes himself to truly be. To call it mental illness without hearing his story is a stretch given the lifelong effort. He's no more mentally ill than any trans out there leading a completely normal life as far as I can tell.

Just my opinion, of course. I'm interested in hearing what he'd have to tell about his side of such a drastic expression of his true nature.

Insecurity?

Looks to me like it took balls of steel and a fierce dedication that most don't possess.

Seeing a lot of judgement leveled against a man that none of you know anything about.

As severe as this is on the spectrum of self-expression, I can see some beauty in it on a few different levels.

Obviously he looks pretty weird and scary and at the moment when you see him first time you already knows you are dealing with abnormal person with mental illness.

But now think how many psychos look perfectly normal in clean white shirt and nice tie while their souls looks much worse than this guy...

This is the problem with the body dymorphia, no matter what you do, something always has to be more outrageous. But, if you weren't happy with the 1st change, you surely aren't going to be happy with the last change.

Not only is his look ridiculous, he cut two fingers off to PRETEND that he is an alien.

Imagine the conversation between him and his doctor. "I'd like you to cut off 2 of my fingers, so I can have a "claw". And the doctor responds with "hey that is a great idea" while thinking "I have no idea what a claw is".

Proceeds to cut off pinky and finger next to pinky leaving _____ (fill in blank). It looks like the Penguin's hand from the Batman movies. And it does not look like a claw.

The pinky should have been left and the middle finger and finger between the pinky and the middle finger should have been cut. Then he could have had his claw.
