I read the story about Oak Island 35 years ago. It inspired me to take a metal detector to an old house a ww1 vet had died in when I was a kid. For many years, people had metal detected on the property. I went with my Dad and soon we were digging a hit. The old man had buried coffee cans filled with old leather purses filled with silver coins and paper money. All the bills were dated 1968, the year I was born. That must have been the year he buried it. Cleared a couple grand for following a dream from a book.
