I know where you're coming from there, but even so.... the call should have been made if only just "to cover your ass".
Quoting: I hate stupid people Yeah, I don't agree with what those 3 done to him at all. I'm just stating there are still some of us that are going to be hurt, dead, or robbed long before we ever see or hear from the police after we do call. Situation dependant. If seconds are a matter of life & death, take action first. These three had plenty of time to do the right thing before confronting the man. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. If you're being broken into then seconds are always a matter of life and death. I understand the castle law and how it applies here so I won't hesitate to use it. That being said I'm not dumb enough to leave my property and chase someone.
