Knowing how generous the judge was to the prosecution in the concessions before the trial and ruling out practically everything the defense tried to get through based on what I was reading, and how coldly he shot down defense motions in the parts of the trial I saw.

I thought for certain he would have a grin on his face as he quickly flicked between those juror pages, but I didn't see that. In fact, I thought it was going to be not guilty based on his expression. So maybe that judge isn't as biased as I was expecting. I seem to remember the Chauvin judge had a bit of a grin that he then fought off when he read the charges.
