Trump makes a point of it practially all the time and look at the hires. Look at what Kavanaugh did hiring a female only staff for instance straight after all that sympathy was garnered for the low blows trying to block his nomination. Maybe with Trump it's just the deal you gotta do to be on the team, you gotta let people know after they supported you that you don't give a flying f about them in some way. That's the ritual.
