At my grandfathers funeral, only one of his 12 kids didn’t attend…

After the funeral the family went back to the family home to find out the house had been robbed of all valuables. It devastated my grandmother. Crushed her.

That was 1964.

Fast forward to 1985, 21 years later…. The uncle who didn’t attend his dads funeral had divorced his wife and she was having a “moving sale”.

She suggested that my mom and one of her sisters, who both lived near, go to the sale because she thought she had some family heirlooms and she needed to sell them. Turned out she was bankrupt, losing her house, and was selling everything and anything.

Wouldn’t you know, a number of things stolen from the grandparents house were in her possession and for sale. The bitch knew it and demanded a lot of money for the items too.

That POS uncle died penniless. Living in a crappy broken down motor home. His brothers fucked him over and abandoned him.

Some of those items were kept in my mothers estate…. And left in her will to my kids.

Wouldn’t you know it, when she died, I drove up to her apartment at a senior living center…. And her apartment had been gone through and everything of value, including those heirlooms, gone.

The only other person in the unit - my brother. That was 8 years ago and I haven’t spoken to the POS since.
