NY Woman Uses Obituaries to Rob Houses as People Attend Funerals

When Mamaw died, we asked the neighbor who was a college professor to station himself on the porch grading papers during her funeral. We brought out a shotgun to lean up against the house by where he was sitting.

Sure enough, a big box truck came by eyeing our house. Dr. Bob got up and reached for the shotgun. They left and never came back. This was in 1994.

Would have been a LOT more satisfying and useful to society to simply sit quietly in the front room (or back door) with a shotgun trained at the door.

Let them come in, then fire the boomstick.
