We brought out a shotgun to lean up against the house by where he was sitting.
Sure enough, a big box truck came by eyeing our house. Dr. Bob got up and reached for the shotgun. They left and never came back. This was in 1994.
Quoting: Gyro Geargoose Would have been a LOT more satisfying and useful to society to simply sit quietly in the front room (or back door) with a shotgun trained at the door. Let them come in, then fire the boomstick. Get rid of the problem / have some excitement in the process.
