there are case histories and somewhat informal research studies that support vitamin C delivered by IV being able to treat almost any viral illness ... much more vitamin C can be absorbed and become bioavailable when it's delivered by IV, and to be an effective treatment in most cases the dose is much higher than one could absorb by taking it orally.

well i don't have equipment or knowledge to give myself a course of ascorbate via IV however liposomal vitamin C, taken orally, may be a workable substitute
