Honestly, my father saw someone robbed a convenience store. He stopped the guy at the gas pumps on the side of the road between the gas pumps and the road and held him at gunpoint until the cops got there under citizens arrest. He got a certificate of appreciation for that from the local police department. That was 40 years ago. That's the way things used to work in Georgia and it was only after this case that they changed the law.
