He WAS innocent of the alleged crime they were chasing him for. That’s not how the law works you can’t hunt someone down because they might have committed a crime.

They weren't "hunting him down" and you know it. They did want to question him about the recent thefts in the area, and I don't blame them, usually thieves like Arbrey end up graduating to armed robberies and I would guarantee if he didn't die this time he would have probably murdered a homeowner in the future during one of his home invasions.They were hunting him down, one threatened to kill him. They were able to yell death threats at him but none of them said, “stop we want to talk to you”.
