These 3 men felt the need to follow a person breaking into unoccupied, under construction homes. They then stopped the person with guns pointed at him and want to claim self defense? They went to him, did not run from him or worry for their safety or the safety of others..

We are all frustrated with stealing and vandalism. However, those crimes do not constitute a death sentence by everyday citizens. You see a person breaking into a vacant home, you take a picture of the person from a safe distance, call the police and then mind your own damn business. If they approach you or your property and are a threat, then yes defend yourself as much as necessary to stop the threat. Don't chase them down with guns drawn if they are retreating...

I am sorry but that man, regardless of his criminal history, had to right to defend himself...If 3 men and a truck blocked my path with guns pointed at me I would defend myself as well.
