So, China uses its 200,000 volts-per-meter Super-EMP weapons on the U.S.

Destroys all electronics, including the SCADA systems running the country’s 100+ nuclear generating stations.

Those nuke plants melt down, along with their spent fuel pools. Soon the entire continent is contaminated with radioactivity, including the vast grain-growing regions of the U.S. and Canada that feed half the planet.

Between the contamination and the breakdown of society, grain exports cease, probably forever. The rest of the world is isn’t going to be pleased about that - at ALL.

Oh, and the leaking plants on the East Coast contaminate the Atlantic Ocean, as well, ruining its fisheries. More joy for the hungry masses worldwide.

All that radioactivity is also going to eventually drift over to Europe, as well. They will not be pleased.

End result of all this: the Chinese reach a level of pariah status that is unmatched in human history, with the entire rest of the world hating their collective guts with a burning passion. If that true I'd rather go camping for sometime if I live in heavily populated areas.
