Authorities have let it go passed the point of no return.
They could have backed off , admitted their mistake , enacted all the medical effort they could muster to find aid and compensation to those injured or to families who had lost lives.
They could have really investigated and charged those who have committed this heinous crime against humanity.

But they did not , now the rage is well embeded in the thoughts and minds of many , with more joining them daily.

That rage can only be contained for so long.

You thought La Parma was going to be a mighty explosion, humanity across the planet will dwarf that.
In some way you could say La Parma is exploding in it's symbolic way with humanities building rage.
