Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80841014 Plastic bags are made from by-products of oil and gas production. If those by-products are not turned into something humans can use, the by-product still exists and must be disposed of anyway. I use the bags for trash around the house and to clean up after my pet. If I don't get them free from the store then I'll resort to buying them.
