KING JAMES VERSION
Matthew 16:28 "Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom."
Here Jesus specifically said SOME(not one person) OF THOSE WHO ARE STANDING HERE(people that he was speaking too at that time 2000 years ago) WOULD NOT TASTE DEATH (these people would NOT die) UNTIL THEY SEE THE SON OF MAN (the son of man is Jesus) COMING IN HIS KINGDOM!(this means the kingdom of GOD!
It cannot be any more clear people! Jesus told his disciples that he would come back in HIS KINGDOM before some of his disciples would die 2000 years ago! He never came back! And that means he is not ever going to!
We are not in the biblical "end times" so get over it

They did see him come again. this is a reference to the appearance of Christ in His glory on the Mount of Transfiguration which begins in the very next verse (17:1). Here Christ does literally appear in a glorified form, and some of His apostles are there to witness the occasion, namely Peter, James, and John.
